Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). 2. Clean and prep your string beans and heat up a cast iron skillet on the stove. 3. Dice your mushrooms and onions and set them aside. 4. Place 8 pieces of bacon on your heated skillet and cook until crispy. Cut up the bacon into small pieces. 5. Add the mushrooms and onions to the skillet you cooked the bacon in and mix until soft. Add the bacon back in. 6. Add in the flour, seasoning, and heavy cream and mix well. 7. Add the string beans in and mix it all together ensuring the string beans are covered in the mixture. 8. Add the crispy onions on top and bake the casserole at 350°F for 40 minutes.
