
Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins

What you need

tsp ground nutmeg

tbsp granulated sugar

tsp salt
tsp baking powder
egg

oz cream cheese

tsp vanilla extract

cup all purpose flour

cup pumpkin puree

tsp baking soda

cup butter
tsp 1 percent milk
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg, and salt. 3. In a separate bowl, mix pumpkin puree, egg, and melted butter. Ensure butter is cooled. Add vanilla extract and mix until combined. 4. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients and mix until just blended. Do not over mix. 5. Prepare the cream cheese filling by mixing cream cheese, sugar, flour, milk, and vanilla extract until combined. Transfer to a piping bag or ziploc bag with a corner cut out. 6. Fill each muffin with cream cheese filling by dipping the bag into the center of the muffin batter and slowly lifting up. 7. Bake muffins for 25 minutes. Check readiness with a toothpick. 8. Allow muffins to cool slightly before removing from pan.
