tbsp granulated sugar

cup powdered sugar

tsp ground clove
egg

tbsp baking powder

tbsp ground cinnamon

tsp vanilla extract

tsp ground nutmeg

tbsp maple syrup

tsp ground allspice

cup all purpose flour

tbsp ground cardamom

tbsp chai spice
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line your baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. In a bowl, add flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and 1 tablespoon of chai spice. Whisk all of these ingredients together until fully blended. 3. Cut butter into pieces and incorporate it into the flour using a pastry blender. 4. In a measuring cup, mix heavy cream, egg, and vanilla extract, then add it to the flour mixture. 5. Use a wooden spoon to mix the dough, then form a ball with your hands and flatten it into an 8-inch disc. 6. Cut the disc into 8 pieces and top with sugar. Bake for 22 minutes until golden brown. 7. While scones are baking, prepare the Maple Chai Glaze by mixing powdered sugar, chai spice, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and heavy cream as per glaze instructions. 8. Once scones are cool, dip them in the glaze and serve.
